Delayed Openings

So, I know that they 1) let students sleep in late and 2) get teachers in schools to get work done and whatnot. I understand that. But this morning, I went to the school like at 8:45 and they told me to wait outside because students can't be in the building until 9:50. But my mom can't drop me off any earlier than that. I don't know when the bus comes to pick me up and even if it did, I don't think my bus driver would know to stop at my stop because she doesn't do that in the mornings. My mom drives me (more like my brother if we aren't too late). They let me in the school and let me work on stuff like homework. I was quiet and not a bother whatsoever. But they didn't let me this time because different people were there. They told me to wait outside, but my mom doesn't want me to wait outside (I think I have some ideas of why not). She goes in, talks to them. I'm outside reading a story on Wattpad, when my mom comes out and tells me to get in the car. I was thinking, 'She has lost the argument.' She drove to the school district office is and told them about it. I was in the car, reading the same story in Wattpad. They told her to talk to the principal, not the assistant principal. So then after that, we went to the Thrift Store. We talked about the delayed openings and how it is inconveinant for some families. I personally think that letting kids go in the school on delayed opening (if they can't make it any later). But I know that in middle school, teachers don't want students to take care of when they are working on other things. They let high schoolers go in early. But that's because of the maturity level of the high schoolers. So at the Thrift Shop, I sat in the car and read the story on Wattpad again. And this (what I saw this morning) shows laziness. So the recycling truck was going to house to house getting recycling bins. It gets the first bin, drives up to the second bin then does the same. But the second bin is only like ten steps away! I was like, 'This makes no sense!' Then I go to school on time and meet up with some friends.

Valentine's Day

I know that it has already passed and I'm late for posting this, but this will be a rant and I may offend a lot of people, give people who I possibly offended more ideas, and whatever else I put in this.

So first off: Why is there one single day in the entire year to give you partner lots of attention and stuff like that. I think that people (couples mostly) should do this more often. It doesn't have to be extravagant. It can be just a surprise dinner or something. I think that would be nice. (Or just go some place where your partner and you like to go.)
2) You know how people go out to buy flowers, chocolate, stuffed bears with hearts on them, jewelry, store bought cards, ect, just to make their partner feel special? Well, seeing how like almost every other person is doing that, doesn't seem special. I would say something that you made your self would be really special. Like a homemade cards (I do that a lot), or you could do strawberries dipped in chocolate. Or something that your partner likes, but also has a feeling of you in it. (It's hard to explain, but you get what I mean.)
3) I'm single, so I don't do any of this stuff for my partner. If your single, don't feel like your a loser that you don't have a person to be with on Valentine's Day, just go out with a group of friends. Do some things that are fun and enjoyable. Not sit around in your house. Going out with friends will help you find some people you may possibly want to have a relationship with. And if all of your friends are busy for some reason, go out to some place you like. There, you can find someone that you know likes something you like.

I think this was more of a advice giving post. Eh, oh well.
